about Lucy

Lucy Sutton is an Msc Physiotherapist, and owner of Jigsaw Physiotherapy Dee Valley, a sole trader Physiotherapy buisness ready to help you feel better, and move better. She has 5 years experience as a Physiotherapist in various NHS settings, and has been working in Private Practise for one year. Her main interest is in the management of hyper-mobility and associated problems such as persistent pain, which was the subject of her Msc Thesis.

Prior to working as a Physiotherapist, Lucy undertook a Bsc degree in Psychology, and worked for 7 years with underprivileged youth using outdoor activities and movement as a therapeutic medium. This means Lucy understands the full impact of injury on not only your physical health, but also your mental health, and can help you work out what you can do in the gym.

When not working as a Physiotherapist, she can either be found in our CrossFit Gym (usually with a heavy barbell or working on her pull ups) or training for Kayaking - her main sport. She is a GB athlete in Freestyle Kayaking; a fun explosive style of kayaking where athletes do gymnastics style tricks in short 45 second bursts on a standing wave, similar to slope jam or BMX competitions.
